And somehow, we found the time to put our outdoor passion on the page with our beautifully designed backcountry series maps that cover every inch of our favorite trails from North Carolina to Oklahoma and Arkansas. So you can have an elegantly accurate companion to navigate everything from quick overnighters to epic thru-hike adventures.

A little Background

While we’ve got more than enough experience on the trail, we also have plenty of formal education in our pack. During our travels, we stopped in Florida for a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Anthropology. Then, after working in the field for the next decade, we trekked over to the University of Arkansas for a Master of Arts degree in geography. From there we dove headfirst into recreational cartography. And we’ve been honing our award-winning map designs ever since.

Expertise

We could bore you with a deep dive into our technical expertise in programs like ArcMap, Illustrator and Photoshop, but technical skill is only half of the equation. The real beauty in what we do is the blend of art and science. While most cartographers are only focused on only one of those things, we bring them both to the table. So you get more than just a map. You geet a scientifically accurate work of art.
